Ubuntu 10.04 and newer who want the latest releases of Mozilla Firefox can add the Firefox PPA to their computers.
The easiest way to do this is via the Terminal (Applications -> Terminal).
For the stable release enter the following two commands separately, entering your password when asked.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
For the beta release enter the following two commands separately, entering your password when asked.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-next
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
